The Summer Scotch 2 ingredients come in a nicely packed paper box. As I open the box, I can see the information cards and recipes given to make cocktails. However, put your hands carefully on the box, as most of the elements come in glass jars or bottles. They packed to avoid breaking, but they can be broken sometimes.

Q Mixers Club Soda

Two soda cans of 7.5 ounces are given to blend all the ingredients and make a perfect cocktail in the box. The cans have the carbonation as much as they can hold with a dash of Himalayan salt added to enhance the taste. Cocktails stay fizzier as this soda has a lot of carbonation.

Barmalade Grapefruit-Elderflower

This is a great element to essence the taste of the drink. Red grapefruits are mixed with elderflower creating a sweet floral essence. It looks like a jam and comes in a jam jar. I tasted it like a jam, and it tasted sweet. The jar can make 4 to 5 cocktails and contains no artificial flavoring.

The tamarind-citrus cordial comes in 4 ounces which need to be refrigerated after opening. It gives a sweet and sour taste to the cocktails like Como la Mujers. The key ingredients are tamarind paste, orange juice, lime juice along with, cane sugar, and citric acid.

Shaker & Spoon's strawberry cordial

Two ounces of strawberry are provided on the box. This is a versatile syrup that is suitable to use with various spirits. It contains ingredients like cane sugar, fresh strawberries, orange zest, citric acid, etc. it is mentioned to refrigerate it after opening, so I kept it in my freezer. However, I finished this small bottle in a week.

Shaker & Spoon's agave nectar

The next item is agave nectar made from pure organic agave. Only one fluid ounce is given on a glass bottle. This product is produced by Shaker and Spoon and sent with the subscription box.

Bitter End Mexican Mole Bitters

Mexican Mole Bitter is a distillation of various spices that gives the flavors of cacao, cinnamon, and sesame. I have received four bottles of mole bitters to add flavors to my cocktails. Each of the bottles is 1 ounce.

Alain Milliat mango nectar

This is a 330ml mango nectar made with 41% pulp, water, and sugar. It contains no allergens and is GMO-free. The nectar pairs greatly with cocktails as it gives a sweet taste to the drink. You can pair it with shrimp as well. Moreover, it comes in a glass bottle, so you should handle it with care.

Cocktail kit

They provide recipes for three cocktails so that you can enjoy the drinks as soon as you receive the kit. I tried making "A Worn Path." This drink is made using only three elements, Scotch, strawberry cordial, and IPA tincture. I added mango nectar to make it sweeter as I have a sweet tooth.

Other drinks are "Como la Mujer" and "Pretty & Poppin'." To make "Como la Mujer," you will need all the ingredients like Scotch, mango nectar, tamarind-citrus cordial, mole bitters, etc. On the other hand, "Pretty & Poppin'" requires Scotch, grapefruit-elderflower barmalade, club soda, lavender bitters, and agave nectar. Start pouring each ingredient in a small amount to balance all the flavors and tastes.
